Osu is arguably one of the most popular suburbs in Accra. Home to the early party-life and the golden age of restaurants, fast-food joints and shopping pleasures, Osu has more than enough qualities to boast of.

The Osu Castle is definitely no exception. Serving historic purposes during the colonial era, the Castle successfully became the seat of government for many years.

The affairs of the country and the major decisions that defined the current state and the achievements made so far by the country , were taken in this historic building.

With the transfer of the seat of government to the Presidential Palace, one would have excepted the popularity of the once Fort Christiansborg to dwindle, yet it still stands strong and tall off the coast of the Atlantic Ocean.
